About Us

Welcome to our swim school! Established on September 17, 2020, our independently run school was founded by Lucy and Sophie, who bring over 30 years of combined teaching experience and a shared passion for helping swimmers of all ages thrive in the water.

At the heart of our school is a commitment to personalised, technique-focused learning. We believe that swimming is not only a vital life skill but also a pathway to confidence, fitness, and fun. By keeping our group sizes small, we provide a tailored approach to teaching that ensures every swimmer, regardless of age or ability, gets the attention they need to succeed.

Our lessons are held at a private pool in South Weald, maintained at a lovely 31 degrees, perfect for creating a warm and welcoming environment. From babies taking their first splashes to adults refining their strokes, we take pride in nurturing progress at every stage.

Meet Lucy & Sophie

With decades of experience teaching swimming, we’ve helped countless students develop into strong, confident swimmers. Whether it’s encouraging a nervous beginner, refining a competitive swimmer’s technique, or supporting someone with unique needs, we bring patience, expertise, and enthusiasm to every lesson. Teaching isn’t just our profession, it’s our passion.

  • I hold an ASA Level 1 Certificate in Teaching Swimming, STA Level 2 Full Teaching qualification, and RLS National Rescue Award for Swimming and Coaches, along with an RLS IQL First Aid qualification.

Teaching swimming is my passion, and I find immense joy in helping individuals develop confidence and essential safety skills in the water. I especially love working with children, guiding them to become competent swimmers and fostering their love for the water—it’s the most rewarding part of my job!

  • I hold ASA Level 1 and Level 2 Swim Teaching qualifications, as well as an ASA Level 2 certificate in Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers. Additionally, I am certified with the RLS National Rescue Award for Swimming and Coaches and the RLS IQL First Aid qualification.

I feel incredibly lucky to have such a rewarding job. Helping young children overcome their initial nerves and take their first independent strokes is truly special—seeing their sense of achievement is priceless. My technique-focused approach to teaching swimming helps build strong skills that can pave the way for competitive swimming or a lifetime of fitness and enjoyment in the water.
